Dressed in the clothes i am going to wear to the private views I am going to tomorrow night. Went to some awesome private views this evening. Good stuff. Some boring though. Currently listening to good music on fuck off head phones in bedroom, scanning page from Perec book for Sarah.
Far too happy (in a non manic way) to take anything seriously!!!!!!!! Jumping up and down is good, but prefer long bath with book.
This image is for Sarah as she was talking about reading.
Busy sorting out the research findings of Agent A - who was born at Elsewhere but only got a name recently. Have discovered a new part of the world a flat land that floats in the stratosphere but moves around the earths surface and into the air space of various countries.
Agent A also has a blog, but I manage it for him http://agenta.vox.com/
Hopefully going to see performances by this artist and others at an exhibition on Sunday, next week.
check this out if is fun http://utrophia.net/utrophia%20site/site/public/2005.html
Worried that Sarah is going to disturb the sheep, or that they will learn too much from her and need want to go on adventures.
Grover went to Amsterdam, but didn't get to meet Mon-niq unfortunately. He also recently went to the Natural History Museum but was disturbed by the size of the animals. Pictures awaiting.
Lucinda forgot to take Groover with her and Groover still hasn't forgiven Lucinda for this, even though they went on a cruise together. Lucinda heard from her trusted art informant Richard that there was an amazing exhibition occuring in the ex-Iraqi embassy Knightsbridge. The thought of going into the ex-Iraqi embassy was fascinating enough, never mind an art exhibition too. When i arrived an negotiated all the extremely rich tourist in and around Knightsbridge, i spied a group of arty crowd looking people on the pavement. This looks like it. I took me a while to realise that the entrance wasn't as grand as I was hoping for and rather eighties. Once inside, at reception i purchased a raffle ticket for beer, but i was advised that the odds were highly stacked in my favour. At the reception I collected my Iraqi embassy Medical envelope which i discovered later contained a map of the first floor environments. the reception walls were densely hung with posters and naff artworks such as cheap water colours and touristy paintings. I wandered up the stair case, curving but not especially grand. At the top was an office piled high with confidential documentation. At the desk in the dark there was an intimidating official, perhaps a spy still trying to find weapons of mass destruction. He didn't integate me, sadly.
All the artwork was on the 1st floor (sorry second floor). DA Gallery invade buildings that are empty and squat them, and turn the space into a gallery. All the environments were on the same floor, a catacomb of dark rooms - there were no ceiling lights. Most visitors wandered around slightly lost travelling into various mini worlds. The environments were predominately made from things that had been found in the building. One room had a band playing behind a sheet, so you could hear them and see their shadow. At lot people sat around in this comfortable room, with a cardboard city on the ceiling. There was one room that just had paper aeroplanes on the floor; no fly zone perhaps. Another room had various things that seemed to work, sounded like a vacum cleaner and a hair drier, an environment in the process of being something - mad scientist at work. There was a room with a row of electric irons, which were dripped on by a complex system of pipes coming from the ceiling.
There were lots of hiding places, rooms that you couldn't really get into. Dark places, holes in walls. One room was divided into two horizontally, top half painted glass black and bottom half left as normal. There was a small hatch so that you could peak at the shiny dark world above.
Discovered today that they were unfortunately evicted the next day. Really sad but so cool to have seen and experienced it. I wrote a bit more about it on http://www.a-nunedited.co.uk/reviews/reviews.php?form=details&r=285&dir=desc&pg=1

Groover and Lucinda got to go on an exotic cruise on a canal in East London. Groover as you can see spent an awful lot of time waving to crowds of fans on the bank.
Groover is such a pro, he was organizing me, making sure that I got the light shining on him in the right way. Showing is best side. Groover really had a great time, and enjoyed sitting on the deck drinking quality beer when he wasn't attending to his adoring fans.
Lucy's friend Dick the skipper, had a conversation with Groover about the similiarities between stardom and being the captain of the boat. Groover at one points offered Dick the skipper an embarrasing large amount of money for Coco , the narrow boat, but Dick the skipper politely turned down Groover's offer. Though I think Groover is still plotting something, slightly concerned about Groover strong feelings for Coco. Unfortunately, Groover and Dick's conversation was cut short due to a bend in the river. Well that is life isn't it.
Groover is so excited at seeing pictures of his old friend, so old that Lucinda can't remember what his name is. Groover is get increasingly irritated at Lucinda's lack of knowledge of the Muppets and Groover prestigious film career.
Groover remembered how wonderful it is to be larger than life on the silver screen. Even if this one was just a computer monitor.
You would never know that there is an ocean in-between them. Groover is such a pro!!!
This is link to Youtube where a class of little children try out the miked up space - so cool. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CC5JsCNdTEg&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Eleafcutterjohn%2Ecom%2F
Groover got very excited talking to the starling outside the millenium dome. Groover wanted to know if the starling knew Big Bird.... I was concerned for Groover's safety but, he was fearless.
Groover was thrilled to be at the millenium dome. He thought it as stupid that it was now called O2, and couldn't understand why the inside was just like at street on the inside. He like looking at it.
on Groover goes on exotic London cruise
