I have been thinking about dividing and organising. To make sections you have to generate difference. If you imagine objects arriving and then being sorted/organised into different sections, but once they have been sorted you have no indication, no labeling of how or why they have been put into that category, or where the section ends and begins. To understand organising you must have a map, a holistic vision of the archive process. This map is not meant literally, but could be labels to denote difference. If you are without the map - to return to a point made in my thesis - there is a return to the tactile to what is immediately infront of you. You can not see over the horizon you can't see tomorrow as that is part of the map time that we have constructed too. You can only live in the now, and respond in a subjective manner to the object/thing that you have to sort.
